A Message from the CEO
Your credit union continues to grow, as we have significantly added more members, loans and deposits in 2018. Loan growth has been tremendous this year, helping members achieve the goal of owning a new home, purchasing a new car or funding higher education. Our deposit rates have continued to rise throughout the year, helping members earn more.
We continue to strive to give back to our local communities. In July we had our first “Kemba Night at Great American Ball Park”, an event that helped raise more than $3,000 for the Cincinnati Fire Foundation.
Kemba recently finished our annual collaboration with the Freestore Foodbank to help sell ducks for the Rubber Duck Regatta. Kemba, along with Kroger and other local businesses, helped sell more than 170,000 ducks. This event raised over $1,000,000 that will provide over 3 million meals to children and families in need. In addition, Kemba Credit Union sold the winning duck to a lucky credit union member.
In October, Kemba will partner with SCORE, an organization that provides free mentoring and education for small businesses. Kemba is proud to sponsor the 2018 SCORE Client of the Year Award.
Starting in late October, Kemba will collaborate with St. Vincent de Paul to support the WLWT Coat Drive. Kids’ coats and men’s extra-large coats are the greatest need. You can visit any Kemba branch to make your coat donation.
Your credit union continues to invest in technology, with new enhancements to mobile and online banking. With the Kemba Mobile app, members can easily freeze, re-order and add travel notices to their debit or credit cards. Also, members now have the ability to transfer funds from other financial institutions to their Kemba accounts within online banking. Kemba is committed to investing in our delivery channels to improve your member experience.
