Kemba Credit Union has adopted the following Community Outreach Mission Statement:

To be an active partner in our community while continuing to build a positive image for the credit union by upholding the industry's philosophy of "people helping people."

Kemba strives to be an active partner in the communities that we serve.  Whether through direct financial support, volunteer contributions to local organizations or by participating in public service activities we recognize that practicing excellent corporate citizenship supports our credit union’s outlook of “people helping people”. Implementing this mantra helps in raising the overall level of social and economic wellbeing throughout our community. Strengthening ties within our society places us in a grander position to reach out and serve.

Kemba Credit Union participates in multiple public service activities throughout the year including The Freestore Foodbank Rubber Duck Regatta, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Kemba’s Annual Golf Outing that contributes to the Cincinnati Fire Foundation as well donating to local organizations and charities through our Community Outreach Committee.

Kemba has achieved local and national success for its community outreach program. Kemba has won the Dora Maxwell Award for Social Responsibility in the state of Ohio numerous times.

Our continuous participation in these activities is not only exceptionally rewarding for the Kemba staff but also to all those who are involved. Year after year our membership is eager to show support and that help allows our mission statement to become reality.
